DEADLINE EXTENDED!

Hey University of Illinois students! The submission deadline for the Media and Cinema Studies department’s student run film festival has been extended to Wednesday, April 20th. If you or a friend want to show off your talents to the Champaign-Urbana Community, submit your 5-20 minute film to the Gregory Hall Room 119 by April 20th.

Here is some useful information regarding submissions:

  • The over arching theme for this years festival is mirrors (reflections).   One of our judging criteria is based on your creative utilization of the mirror. While this is preferred, we will gladly accept films without this element. Submissions without this theme will not be rewarded points in the “Use of the concept or image of the ‘mirror’” category.
  • Submissions should run from 5-20 minutes.
  • The deadline for submissions has been extended to Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
  • All films must be turned in to Gregory Hall Room 119 in DVD format.
  • There will be $300 in cash prizes!!
